Belle Lane

Belle Lane has worked in family law since her admission to legal practice in 1994. She has worked as a barrister at the Victorian and Western Australian Bars, as a solicitor in Victoria, Western Australia and the Northern Territory.

Belle practises in all areas of the family law and de facto jurisdictions, including pre-trial applications, trials, mediations, arbitrations, advice and paperwork. She has practised in all States and Territories and is available to travel for interstate and intrastate work. 

Belle is an Accredited Advanced Mediator, Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, Collaborative Practitioner and an AIFLAM Accredited Arbitrator. Belle was a director of the Australian Institute of Family Law Arbitrators and Mediators (AIFLAM) from 2012 to 2019. She is an experienced mediator conducting mediations in person and online. 

Dr Darren Moroney

Darren works as a psychologist and academic, and is a nationally accredited mediator. Currently based in the University of Western Australia’s Mediation Clinic, Darren conducts mediations and training seminars. He is also undertaking research and evaluation projects with the aim of contributing to the evidence base for the field. As a practitioner, Darren has worked with a variety of clients across the lifespan utilising a mentalizing therapeutic framework.

As an academic, Darren has taught and coordinated units at both the undergraduate and postgraduate level within the Schools of Psychology and Public Health at Curtin University. He has also supervised numerous Masters-level Dissertations.
