Arbitration Training Course - Melbourne

Over the course of the program, participants will:

  • Discover the essentials of Family Law Arbitration—what it is and what it is not and how it fits into dispute resolution within the Family Law system.
  • Gain an understanding of the statutory basis for Family Law Arbitration
  • Gain a thorough knowledge of the Arbitration Process including the Family Law Rules introduced this year.
  • Discover and create their own Arbitrator’s kit, including an Arbitration Agreement and information for clients
  • Learn how to prepare for the Arbitration Hearing
  • Receive instruction in and gain practical experience in Award Writing

In addition, participants will also be given overnight exercises to complete during the course.

The Course will commence at  9.00am on Thursday and finish by 1.00pm on the Friday to allow attendees to only spend one night in Melbourne if travelling from a different destination.
